It might be that you have an old evaluation report. Previously, qualifications that were developed before the NQF system, were evaluated using the pre-NQF system. However, the NQA is now able to align those qualifications to the NQF systems and qualifications would be assigned a NQF level, provided that both the awarding body and the qualification were accredited/ recognized at the time of award.

The NQA offers a service of verifying the status of the accreditation of an institute and its programmes. This is to give assurance to a student that the accredited program from an accredited institution will be recognized upon completion.
